Okay guys, if you are familiar with Mind, Body, and Health by Misty and are currently a part of my Facebook and/or Instagram then you know I love me some Trader Joe’s! It is definitely my go to store and they make it so easy to love them with their unique and healthy food options. Not to mention so many options are Macro friendly! Whether you are new to Macro nutrition or it’s already your current lifestyle I want to share a few of my Trader Joe’s must-haves with you!
Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter: Let’s all just be honest, no matter how healthy of a lifestyle you are living, sometimes you just crave something sweet! No worries pick up some of this amazing cookie butter and tame that sweet tooth! You can simply scoop it and eat it!
Trader Joe’s Green Goddess Salad Dressing: If you haven’t tried this stuff yet, the moment you read the ingredients you will seriously ask yourself “how on earth am I living a Macro lifestyle and this is not always on hand?” Okay, okay I’m not even going to make you go to the store I’ll tell you right now what’s in it: avocado, green onion, cold pressed lemon juice, chives, basil & garlic. Yep, all FRESH & SIMPLE ingredients… So delicious! Yes, this is an amazing salad dressing, however, it’s also a great marinade too!
Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Stir Fry: This stuff is so stinking yummy, and I swear it legit tastes like fried rice, the good kind you get at a Hibachi restaurant! It’s a great side for any meal!
Trader Joe’s Fried Rice: Why is fried rice just so good? I always make sure to have this on hand, because it makes an easy delicious side. Or you can totally add some chicken or shrimp in the mix and boom a quick and easy meal!
Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Sesame: Don’t let the name of this seasoning fool you, it’s not just for bagels. It mimics the topping of the everything bagel and is a great addition to almost anything! You can shake some of this bad boy on veggies, meats, basically anything your heart desires and it will make your taste buds oh so happy!
Trader Joe’s Chile Lime seasoning blend: Are you looking to add a little spice to your Macro meals? This stuff will do the trick. It goes perfectly with eggs, chicken, turkey, beef or anything else you just want to spice up!
Trader Joe’s Brown Rice (freezer section): You can easily make any kind of bowl out of this; it just depends on what you add to it. Some ideas would be a Mexican bowl, just add avocado, chicken, cheese, and salsa. Feeling a little more in the mood for Asian? Then add some chicken, veggies, and soy! You get the idea.
Trader Joe’s Egg White Salad with Chives: I love having this on hand. Sometimes I need something super quick and this does the trick! And to top it off, it is oh so yummy!
Trader Joe’s Queso Cheese: Let’s not make this one complicated. This should be a must- have for anyone because well… queso is the bomb!
I love sharing all of my favorite foods along with tips and tricks. Living a healthy lifestyle is one of the greatest things you could ever do for yourself. There is no reason though that your food should be boring or bland. I hope some of my must-haves are or will become some of yours too!
