This one is for the kids or the kid at heart!

Lucas had so much fun making ice cream in a bag today so I thought other kids might like it too. It's ready in 10 min or less so not a big time commitment project! These ingredients you probably have already too.

1 cup half n half or milk (we used milk)
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract or flavored syrup
1/3 c. kosher salt
3 cups ice
large ziploc bag
sandwich size ziploc bag
.

Place milk, sugar, and vanilla in the sandwich size ziploc back. Get all the air out and seal up tight. Then in the big bag put the ice and salt. Place the sealed smaller bag inside the large bag. Seal large ziploc bag and shake vigorously for 7-10 minutes. BAM! You have ice cream!

Put on any additional toppings you like and enjoy!

These kids didn’t let anything get in their way this dance season. They showed up to dance in person, virtually, socially distanced and worked their hardest no matter what. They really shined in their parent performance today! 😍

We love the Sea Cuisine Tortilla Crusted Tilapia with roasted broccoli as a side! My 9 year old begs for this meal often as he loves fish! It's also a ready in 30 min or less meal.

Yesterday was a busy day of managing Lucas's virtual summer school, a new puppy, plus my own work schedule. When it came time for making dinner, I needed to pull from my quick and easy tool box!

This is so easy, delicious, and gets the job done!
.
1/2 cup cooked @birdseyevegetables Rotini Marinara
4 oz -93% ground beef
1 cup of @dolesunshine spinach
.
Cook ground beef on the stove and while that's happening cook Birds Eye Rotini Marinara in the microwave. Once it's all cooked put it in a bowl and add the spinach. The heat from the rotini and ground beef cooks the spinach down.

I like to make recipes that I can change up depend

I like to make recipes that I can change up depending on what I have or what my mood is that day. I have been craving Kielbasa and cabbage for a while now and I would call that my base. Having a base is fun because you can change it up leaving you less likely to get bored of it.

Option 1: we could eat this as is. with just the Kielbasa and cabbage. We are grilling the cabbage with 1 tablespoon of olive oil but you could omit if you choose.
.
Option 2: add a side of pierogi's. This was a bonus find in my freezer today. I love to cook with what I have.
.
Option 3: roast, grill, mash potatoes
.
Option 4: add egg noodles
.
Depending on the options you choose will change the macros so keep that in mind.
.

4oz Kielbasa + cabbage= 195calories, 16gC, 14gF, 17gP, 3g Fiber
Kielbasa+cabbage+pierogi= 370 calories, 40gC, 22gF, 20gP, 4g Fiber
