Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week! It Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week! It’s my plan and prepare day. In between 8 loads of laundry I take time to plan my week, go over scheduling conflicts with Joe, and plan family dinners for the week.

I look at my youngest now who is only 9 years old and I can't imagine leaving him or his brother right now, especially if I can prevent it.

How do you prevent it?
👉🏻go for annual check ups to appropriate doctors.
👉🏻learn how to properly fuel your body.
👉🏻sleep matters
👉🏻mental health matters
👉🏻stress management matters
.
Trust me there is no worse feeling than being 9 and watching your parent die from something they may have been able to prevent. For years I dealt with the fact that I wasn't able to save him. FOR YEARS!
.
Baby step and crawl your way to better health but DO IT!

The top 3 to me are obvious winners for their flexible whole food approach. Here are the top 3...

You will see that higher ranked diets are more flexible and are also high rated for heart health and diabetes.

More restrictive diets such as Keto tend to have lower rankings. In addition, fast weight loss diets were lowest ranked for overall health.

9 years ago today, my youngest was fighting his wa 9 years ago today, my youngest was fighting his way through the NICU! He was born at 33 weeks and 6 days. I was in the hospital a total of 20 days trying to keep him in. He spent 8 days in the NICU.

Once upon a time my dad was a business owner. He was stressed out! He hustled and worked very late hours. He smoked cigarettes a lot. Attempted to quit a few times but it didn't work. He also had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and carried weight in his stomach. Why am I telling you this?

He had many signs that change needed to happen including a family history but he ignored them.
.
He got his final sign when it was too late! A massive heart attack that killed him.
.
Don't wait for your final sign to change! It will be too late.

His life ended (1993) and now it's my mission to help YOU!

No judgment here as I used to be a heavy user of diet coke. I am talking literally no water just straight diet coke all day.

I quit almost 3 years ago and haven't looked back. Water, coffee, and tea for me please.

Did you know that many artificial sweeteners can damage your metabolism?! Not only that they make it so easy to overeat and can trigger spikes in insulin.

Sugar in general is consumed in too high of quantities and then add artificial garbage and no wonder you aren't reaching your goals.

This week at @ladanceaz it was bring your Valentine to class. Bobby humored me and helped me put a little routine together for my combo classes. I love him being my dance partner and plus it was a few minutes he wasn't attached to his ipad.🤣

It's time to look deeper!
.
Grab a piece of paper and write out all your daily habits from moment you wake up till you go to bed. Yes I mean everything you do in a day broken down to the simplest form. Once you complete the list, go back and write = if it's neutral, + if it's a good habit, or - if it's a bad habit.
.
This will help you guide on the next steps you should take to get to your goals. Remember you can't skip steps so the answers are in your daily habits.
.
Maybe you hit fast food everyday for lunch and that might be a goal you want to change. Everyone's positives and negatives will be different. You might be trying to lose weight while your best friend might be trying to maintain. Don't compare just focus on your habits.
.
